Abessis has carried out the interior refurbishment and construction of the new Arpa/Trespa Design Centre in Barcelona, a reference space for professionals in design, architecture, and material innovation. The project, located at Calle Ribera, 5, in the heart of the city, covers a total area of 450 square metres and has been conceived as a versatile, inspiring, and functional environment.

The new Design Centre was created with the aim of becoming a meeting point for architects, designers, and specifiers, where they can explore the creative possibilities offered by Arpa/Trespa’s surfaces and materials. To achieve this, the space needed to combine aesthetics, technology, and flexibility, while maintaining the brand’s visual identity and commitment to sustainability.

At Abessis, we managed the comprehensive execution of the project, overseeing all construction phases and coordinating the different teams and specialised trades. The intervention included the adaptation of installations, carpentry, lighting systems, cladding, and furniture, with special attention given to the integration of the brand’s own materials as a central element of the interior design.

The project required a high level of technical precision and detailed planning to meet the established deadlines, ensuring a final result that reflects the innovation and quality values associated with Arpa/Trespa. Additionally, we worked to create a warm and contemporary atmosphere that fosters creativity and the exchange of ideas.
